Writing marked while they wait
Every response is marked against the five NSW criteria — a score and a written comment on each, plus two strengths and three specific fixes — in the same sitting, not sent off and returned days later.
Real bands, not invented rankings
Selective results report on the real Band 1–5 scale. NAPLAN uses the real ACARA proficiency levels. No made-up percentiles, no "compared to other students" claims — just where your child actually stands, category by category.
Practice that gets harder on purpose
The 14+ Selective tests climb from mostly easy to mostly hard, and no question is ever served twice. NAPLAN tests branch to a harder or easier second set mid-sitting, like the real ones.
Use it alongside, not instead.
A lot of families use Aspirantz between sessions — it's what a tutor points a student to for structured, self-paced practice. Your child uses the same platform either way. If your tutor wants their own dashboard to assign work and see how it went, they can apply for a tutor account; every tutor is verified against a Working with Children Check first.

Is this the same as the real test?
Every practice test is built to the same format, timing and question count as the real exam — Selective's four papers, NAPLAN's two-stage adaptive design — sat on screen, on the clock. It is not the secure real-test content, but the structure and the pressure match.
What if my child is already working with a tutor?
That's common, and it works well. Aspirantz is self-paced practice, not a competing tutoring service. If your tutor wants their own dashboard to assign work and track it, they can apply for a tutor account separately.
Can we get both NAPLAN and Selective?
Yes. Choose "Both Selective + NAPLAN" when you register and one account covers both — the full Selective course plus NAPLAN at your child's year level. It counts as a single free place.
What happens after I register?
When the year level and exam choice are clear-cut, your child's account is created the moment you register and we email a set-your-own-password link. If you choose "Not sure", or a combination needs a human look, a person checks it first and you hear back within one to two business days.
